Covenant Network/LGBT issues are discussed and related events are planned through the Witness Committee. The Witness Committee focuses on many social action issues. That committee is currently meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7-9 at First Presbyterian Church, Columbus.
Susie Sawin-Johnson currently chairs the Witness Committee. Julia Stumpff serves on the Witness Committee and focuses on Covenant Network/LGBT issues.

- June 2006, Picnic - We gathered at a church member's home and discussed our role as a Covenant Network church. To read more, please click here
- January 2007, Supper - We gathered at a church member's home to discuss how we might become more welcoming to LGBT folks. To read more, please click here
- Troy Smythe, of Indianapolis, came to speak to an adult education class about his spiritual journey which involved growing up in a very evangelical Christian home where his teachings associated being gay as sinful. He even went through a "Reparative program" trying to change his sexual identity in order to be right with God. Troy disscussed his spiritual formation process in light of being gay and how he has arrived at a comfortable place spiritually within the Christian faith. To read more, please click here
