News of Covenant Network People

Covenant Network is delighted to announce that the Rev. Lou McAlister East of Greensboro, NC, joins us this month as Southeast Regional Coordinator. She will work with CovNet supporters throughout this region to pursue our strategies of informing, connecting, and advocating. She can be reached at loueast@covenantnetwork.org or 336-324-2525. We join Presbyterians across the country in mourning the death of James Costen, Moderator of the 194th ("Reunion") General Assembly and President Emeritus of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta. Dr. Costen was an original signer of the Call to Covenant Community and a member of our Board of Advisors.

Covenant Network welcomes three newly elected Directors to the Board:

• Kenneth E. Kovacs, Pastor of Catonsville Presbyterian Church, Catonsville, MD
• Kimberly C. Richter, Pastor of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Asheville, NC

Heidi Calhoun, Robert Chesnut, and Beth Hessel-Robinson, having completed their terms, have moved to our Board of Advisors. We thank them for their excellent service!
