Turning Points on Public Television

Throughout the month of June, the Covenant Network video, Turning Points: Stories of Life and Change in the Church was carried by public broadcasting stations around the country. KQED in San Francisco continues to offer Turning Points to local stations. As we hear, we will continue to post new broadcast dates. The list below makes clear the breadth of broadcast cities to date. We can see an impact these broadcasts have because in many of these areas orders for Turning Points jump in the days following the broadcast date.

The video, an hour long presentation, looks at how Presbyterian ministers, congregations, and families are affected by the current ordination standards. Copies of Turning Points may be purchased through the Covenant Network e-store. The DVD or video can be shown in four fifteen-minute units and a study guide is provided for small group discussion. We think Turning Points changes minds. Please consider organizing an in-home or church viewing and discussion in your community.
